An Approachable and Exciting New Way to Drink Specialty Coffee

Introducing dito coffee, a brand new project from Madcap Coffee.

Grand Rapids, Michigan — Madcap Coffee Company just unveiled a new line of specialty coffee blends, aimed at providing quality coffee at a more accessible price point. The project goes by dito coffee. The branding is noticeably opposite Madcap’s, using lowercase typeface, round and bouncy shapes and playful colors.

Founder of Madcap Coffee Company, Trevor Corlett, comments “Why dito? We wanted a Madcap, creative way to reach a broader audience, buy deeper from our producers, expand on what is delicious, and have fun doing it.”

“The name dito comes from the latin term of dito (di-do), and means ‘to enrich.’” He adds.

dito coffee is entering the market with two inaugural blends, available in 12 oz or 5 lb bag sizes. The “weekend” blend, designed to be sweet and uncomplicated to brew no matter the method, has tasting notes of “caramel, rich, and easy drinking”. The second blend is called “spark”, a faintly fruit forward blend described using notes of “chocolate, deep cherry, and crushable”.

dito coffee is now available for Madcap wholesale customers. For inquiries, please contact sales@madcapcoffee.com.

As of October 7th, dito coffee became available for purchase on Madcap’s website. Branded merchandise will follow. To keep up on the latest, subscribe to Madcap Coffee’s weekly newsletter at Madcapcoffee.com or follow @dito.coffee on instagram.

Established in 2008, Madcap Coffee Company’s mission is to unveil the awe-inspiring craftsmanship and human touch that goes into crafting every single cup of coffee — transforming an ordinary daily ritual into an elevated experience. Madcap Coffee has been recognized as the Best Coffee Roaster in Michigan and awarded the Best Unique Roast Subscription by Food & Wine Magazine. It has also been named one of the Best Coffee Roasters in America by Thrillist and listed among the Coolest Coffee Shops by Travel + Leisure.
