  4. Consider these questions:
    • How will this gift impact my community?

    • In what ways is this business committed to advancing social and environmental equity?
    • Does this business participate in any programs that hold them accountable (such as B Corp, 1 Percent for the Planet, Local First/Buy Local campaign)?
    • Does this business have a mission statement on its website?
    • How does my purchase align with the SDGs?

  • Can I curate a locally-sourced selection of holiday activities (shopping + coffee, tree farm + brewery, event tickets + a meal)?
  • What gifts/experiences would be meaningful to my loved ones and/or staff?
